Wartime Clumber this weekend

We are taking the K4 TL and the K2 and Dennis pump to Clumber Park for the ‘Wartime Clumber’ event organised for the National Trust by Eventplan.

We plan to do displays at Noon, 2pm and 4pm. The first will be a training drill, involving hose and the Turntable ladder. The second might involve the pump drawing water from the lake, and finally, we may respond to an air raid fire as the final display.

For further details, see the entry in the ‘Events’ page on www.eventplan.co.uk, or click on ‘Wartime Clumber’ at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/clumber-park/things-to-see-and-do/events/

About lowdhamstation

I am a director of a small (and very technical) business, a committed Christian, a Reader (and preacher) in my local village church, husband to my dear Frances, am interested in heritage railways, and heritage fire engines. I currently run a group that displays wartime and early post-war fire engines at 1940s re-enacting events and steam engine rallies. O yes, and vintage cars and motorbikes, and we live in a Victorian railway station.
