This page gives access to the FireWorld archive material in the possession of the National Fire Services Museum Trust, which are gradually being digitised.
We welcome comments and additional information about any of the material, especially the photos, so if you recognise any locations, or can identify people, uniforms, equipment or vehicles, then please leave a comment.
Eventually, we hope it will be possible for you to purchase full-resolution images to download. (They are being scanned at 4000×3000 pixel resolution, but the preview images in the gallery below are approx 800×600 pixel resolution).
The originals were for many years at Weedon Bec, and are now in temporary storage in Nottinghamshire. The Museum Trust is actively seeking to build a new, purpose-built fire museum in Northamptonshire.
Please note that the copyright for all this material remains with the NFSMT.
